You must be a currently registered student to have access to the library databases. If you are not, you will not be able to use the databases from off-campus.
If you are a currently registered student, you will use your WID number and your ClassWeb password to log in. Your WID should automatically be in our system, along with your password.
A couple of common issues:
- Not capitalizing the “W” in the WID number: the W often must be capitalized for the login to work.
- Not accessing the databases through our library website: the databases are restricted to students, staff, and faculty, so you have to access them by clicking on the links through our website to open them, rather than going through a Google search or a browser link.
If you are still having trouble, please call us directly at 925-424-1150, use our chat on our library website, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we can make sure you are in the system and further troubleshoot with you, as needed.
